Anybody drink water from PVC pipes?

Help Support CattleToday:

the white hard PVC is especially designed for potable water.. we have a 2" mainline buried 6 ft deep to the creek, a good 1/4 mile..
Then there's gray hard pvc that is pressure pipe for non potable water
Then there's black hard pvc that's wastewater pipe, no doubt that's not potable
and finally the flexy black pvc, and I think it comes in both potable and non potable versions

The pipes in the house I spent 10 years of my life in. Had lead pipes in part of it, the water tasted sweet, except when the fields got sprayed, then the water tasted like 24D,... I've drank from creeks, springs, and puddles on rocks.

In the States, I think purple is wastewater that has been treated and cleared for irrigation..
