Just got done looking through some old mail while waiting for a phone call, and came across this.
Actual quote from Pfizer animal health, who just purchased Bovigen. "more quantitive traits like marbling, feed efficiency, and tenderness are still in their infancy with little or no real-world value, but they are the first tiny steps in what promises to be a quantum leap at some point". Anyway the point to me here is, it takes alot of guts and honesty for a company to admit that the testing done today for these traits is pretty much useless for the real-world especially when they just got the company that does some of the testing. I like their honesty.
