Hi folks,
I have an appt for a steer at the butcher this Sept., and it turns out I also have a cow who is right at 6 years old that I will need to cull at about that same time ( Her teats have, one by one, gotten so large, calves are starting to have trouble with them , so off she goes).
So - the cow is bigger (more meat), and the steer will sell well (more money). Would you eat the 6 year old cow?
Thanks!
