Being just a hobby farmer, I have a couple questions.they might sound stupid......but here goes.
1. What do you all mean by "terminal" as it refers to cattle
2. If a calf dies.....are there aren't any signs of trauma, disease, etc and you find it quick enough do you eat it?
What about down cows in the same situation
3. After a couple of calves, is a cow decent for the freezer as cut meat or is it better for grind? If they don't produce for your operational requirements. I know most will send to the sale, but was wondering about the table fare after a couple calves.
None of these questions apply to me, but was just curious.
