I did a search and didn't see a discussion about Cornerstone weed and Grass Killer. What application rate should be applied to a bluestem pasture that was mowed a few weeks back. It's around 6" tall now. The label says 2-3 quarts per acre but Ive been told at that rate it will burn the leaves and the chem won't make it to the root to kill the plant. It was suggested to use 1 quart per acre and a good sufactant. Thanks for the input.

Glyphosate is the active ingredient in Cornerstone, and glyphosate is the a.i. in dozens of other herbicides- Roundup, Honcho, Helosate, KillzAll, Credit Extra, etc., etc., etc. There's been thousands of discussions on this board about glyphosate. You won't need more than 2 qt per acre. Bluestem is not hard to kill.
