Just exactly where in central Texas are y'all from?

I live outside Cameron, about 35 minutes east of Temple / Waco.

our ranch is on the county line between limestone and mclennan county. east of waco on hwy 84 and fm939.

We deer hunt in Lometa, just south of Lampassas.

My grandpa's place is just east of Lometa, on School Creek, about 12 miles North of Lampasas. Seems like the last time I was over there huntung a couple of years ago, there weren't near as many deer as when I was huntung there in the '80s.
Maybe it was just a bad year?

If I go up to my barn, I can almost see Gause. Sugarloaf Mountain is directly between me and Gause. You probably know where Maysfield is. We are 8 miles east of Maysfield and 10 miles north of Gause.
