calf color

If I breed a charolais/Red Angus heifer to a black angus bull what color will the calf be :?: Thanks

black at least 75% of the time

Black, gray or red. If the angus is homozygous(sp) (both genes are black) the calf could be black or any shade of gray- black being diluted by the charolais. If the bull is heterozygous ( one gene red one gene black) the calf could be black, gray, red or diluted red. Isnt coat color fun!
