Just wondering if anyone has any input on this mower and the company. I'm in the market for a new 10' heavy duty mower. The mower sure looks good just don't know of anyone that has one around here. Thanks
Don't have one but seen them. Look as good or better than anything out there. I wouldn't be afraid to get one. They're probably not cheap.

Did they have a display at the show in Perry? I don't remember the brand there but I was impressed with way it was built.

Yes, and that's the one I'm looking at. I guess we abuse our equipment instead of using our equipment.

Vince, not trying to sway you but you might want to check these out. May not be any better but it doesn't cost anything to look. They sell them right down the road from the sale barn in Ashburn. A little closer to home.... Mr Hart has the 8' model and I'm sure he would be glad to let you inspect it.

The Modern Mowers are a good mower and modern has been in the mower business for a long time. The bush whacker is a monster from looking at the spec sheet. You will surely pay a premium for the BW mower but it is built like a tank. If your looking a good mower for everyday brush and pasture mowing the Modern is hard to beat for the price, but it won't compare to the specs that the BW has listed on their site. I run a 7' Modern Predator and it is a tough azz mower and has mowed some 3" locust trees and is still going strong.

It mows grass pretty dang good considering Slicko was mowing at 6.4mph.
Hopefully it'll hold up to to the abuse we'll put it through 3 or 4 times a year.
