i saw that story on the news.an personally i would not sell that egg.but itll bring whatever people are willing to bid on it.

If that egg were to be sold at a cattle auction here, it would bring a pretty penny. A holstein bull calf went thru one of the cattle auctions here several years ago...it had a perfect white cross on its head. The bidding between certain folks...well, it went for a lot of money...when holstein bull calves were going for like $5 a head.
