Bull Proof Mineral Feeder ?

This is what I made that works. Bull proof so far. Guess I'll change out the ratchet strap when it breaks.
I usually find the protein tub 50-75 yards away when it's lighter.

I put protein tubs in an old truck tire or better yet front tractor tire off a 4wd and it keeps them from covering 5 acres with the tubs when they get lighter.

Thinking I'll put my tub in an 18 wheeler tire and tie it to a post.
I have extras because I use them to put my hay on to keep it off the ground.
I'll see how it does.

Looking like the truck tire might do the trick for protein tubs....

Glad it fit ok for you. Been doing it that way a few years. I'm always trying to find ways out of manual labor so I figured out a way to pick up a tub with the hay forks on the loader and carry it to the pasture. I usually move to a fresh spot every time I put one out. I set it down then pick the tire off the empty tub with a fork and drop it around the new one. Then stab the old one and carry it to the dumpster. Never get out of the tractor most times...
