The "how is this a show heifer" prompted me to post a few of ours we are dragging this year.

This is FSSR Satin N Lace, a late October Executive Order x Spring Velvet heifer. We kind of like her.

This is FSSR Hamilton, a Sept born Reactor x Robin's Kiss bull.

This is FSSR Riskay, sired by STF Lockout out of OBCC Eriskay, and is November born.

This is Harley, she is a Sept 3/4 blood out of a half blood Executive Order first calf heifer.

This is our carcass steer this year (see older threads on the carcass contest we participate in each year). He is a May TKCC Classified x Bandwagon cow. Big birthweight made him lose his testis.

This is a Sept Bankroll x Caliente bull.

This is a June steer we bought on the side of a cow when he was a young calf. He got cut because he has a scar in his eye from pink eye he had at the place we bought the pair from (Badger Creek dispersal sale in KS back in Sept). Also, we were told he had an angus unknown sire (cow calved out of season), but when the papers arrived a different sire was listed. We cut him. He weighed 998 pounds at this fair last weekend.

This is FSSR Charity (left -W/C Lock n Load 1143Yx FattButt, Sept born) and FSSR First Lady (DMCC Fully Loaded x Uno Mas cow, also Sept born)

These might better represent what we use to show, but MUST be breeding animals first.
