That's Burrdock.. if it's getting close to flowering, cut it.., otherwise roundup will work.. actually, I recommend cutting the flowering stem off and spraying the rest of the leaves.. it'll just come back if you cut it at ground level, though a good handful of salt on top of the cut will usually kill it
 
I just moved and am dealing with a unfamiliar set of weeds like jimson, burdock, lambsquarter and heavy thistle, so I asked the ag extension agent. He said only use 24d or other broadleaf so that remaining grass outcompetes first year growth. He also said to go light so the root takes in the herbicide otherwise regrowth.

The old fashioned and organic option is hogs for the roots and sheep and goats for leaves.
