Bayer offers $62B for Monsanto

The April 29 2014 price for MON was <$94. Bayer made a bid for MON of $122 cash. I find this offer acceptable. If the deal goes through, I plan to take the money and buy more American owned companies :idea:

Didn't seem to bother them when Sygenta acquired Garst, Sunfield Seed and Golden Harvest.

Opinions need here is it a good deal for American Farmers. I have no reason to think it is good. Too many companies want to move overseas to keep from paying taxes but they want to keep the market here and enjoy the benefits and protection that America provides them.

But I wonder how much complaining the Treasury Dept did when Fiat bought Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, saving all those union jobs up North instead of letting Chrysler go on down the tubes?? I bet not a peep was heard.

That's only another $4-9 billion. With these kind of figures does that really matter? I mean $62B vs $70B..... Either way that's just gas money :lol2:
