Bass on the beds

I have to leave for work in the morning so I came to my place to check cows and spend the night and fished a little.

I don't know if you can see but that's about a 6'' bass in her throat

They were bedding here a couple of weeks ago. Many years ago when I was younger, and had a little different mindset about things, we would walk the edges of farm ponds and spot them on the bed and shoot beside them with a shotgun. I don't advocate this practice as it's not very sportsmanlike, but we did harvest some very large females using this method.
