I wormed a 400 lb calf that seemed to be a little bit behind the others the same age. The next day he was slobbering and squirting like a goose. He eats like a pig but is a little slow moving around. Temp is normal. Has anyone else ever seen this? All the other calves are fine and show no simular symptoms.

I'm probably way, way off on this, but I've seen this reaction in other types of animals.

It is possible that he had lots of worms and you will need to reworm him in 14-21 days.

Come to think of it - I did have a steer calf do that last year. He was loaded with worms. Worm him again in 14-21 days.
