Making my 5 year plan to get my family's name back in the cattle industry. My grandfather and father have both passed and our family name hasn't been associated with cattle for 15 years or so. My plan is this: build up my herd of black baldies by turing a Polled Hereford bull out with Black Angus cows, keeping back the baldy heifers. After much research, my question is this: Will turning a Blazed face, homozygous black simmental out with black baldy cows/heifers result in white faced, black bodied calves?
