I just used Genex Cooperative for the first time. This is my first experience with AI I used a bull by the name of A A Win395 The woman told me I made a good choice for my Heiffer, because his two main traits were A calving Ease Specialist and One of there best for Milk. She gave my Heiffer a shot to induce heat, the shot was given on 6/26 and she came back to breed her on 6/29. She told me to give her a call on the 20th of July if she comes in heat again. How will I recognize it if she does on the 20th. The last time she was jumping my other cow and mooing a lot. I sold all my Herfords but one so it is just the two of them now. I have a 2 week old registered Holstein coming in this week. I am going to just stickto Holsteins. They seem to have a much better temperament.
