Tillamook cheese is very good in my opinion, best cheese out here by far. Beats the heck out of Cracker Barrel and any other brand in our stores. With that said I have never had any cheese from, say Wisconsin or east of Colorado. I will say our ice cream sucks compared to some other brands I have tasted, I wish I could get my hands on the brand all my friends from the south rave on, can't remember the name Blue Bell or Blue Bonnet, I know it's a flower, it just sounds like good ice cream. Back to Tillamook cheese, give me a slice of sharp cheddar on top of a slice of hard salami topped with a large black olive.
Great stuff, agreed. Great smoked salmon, apples, wine, also out there.
I will agree with that too except the salmon. I was raised on that stuff. As in salmon for breakfast, lunch, and supper. I have eaten it baked, broiled, fried, salmon loaf, creamed salmon on toast, salmon sandwiches, smoked salmon, heck I have even eaten it raw. Mom had a cookbook, 1001 ways to cook salmon. I think she tried all 1,001 recipes. I have eaten enough of it to sink a battleship. If I never eat another salmon in my life it is just fine by me.
But I do really like a good apple.
