Anybody every heard of this?

My neighbor and I were talking today, he use to make many trips out west buying quarter horses. He said that he visited a place called Lincoln County Livestock one time. He said it use to be one of the largest landholdings and ranch owned by one man. Anyone ever heard of this?

Although I'm not certain, I believe it was the reason for the Lincoln County Cattle Wars.

I believe the King Ranch in South Texas held that title, too, until Richard King died. They have their own web site that explains the history of the ranch.
