Anti-Monsanto protesters pelt senators with cash during vote on food labeling bill

Around $2,000 was thrown onto the Senate floor on Wednesday as protesters criticized lawmakers just before a procedural vote on a bill concerning genetically modified organisms (GMOs), Roll Call reported.
The disturbance, which was captured on C-SPAN's broadcast of the proceedings, and also posted online by Cloture Club, occurred around 4 p.m. local time.
The Senate is considering whether to proceed on a bill that would require companies to disclose any GMOs used in their products, while also letting them determine the method of disclosure. Critics of the bill say that it does not provide a stringent-enough definition of GMOs and lacks strict labeling standards.
If this special interest group gets their way who knows how high feed prices may go.

Does anyone actually think that, first the $2,000 will make a bit of difference, or that anything will come of this. Move on to the worthless topic.

That's what they said about Obee Care and you saw what happened there!

The problem with O-care was nobody protested and the Democrats had the majority at that time.
Lets not talk politics, but permit me to correct you. Even the Dems didn't vote for Hill care, or Obee Care against the will of the people, so it was done by executive order by a dictator. The demonstrations should come in Nov.
