Another side striped hereford calf.

Couple years ago had a calf born that had almost a complete belt type strip around its shoulders. Last year the same matings the stripe didn't occur. This year a half sister to the cow that had the other calf and by the same bull resulted in this calf. To be clear, I am not breeding for this. The cows and bull are "purebred" but not registered. The bull was home raised out of registered cow and bull. The bull was sold last year, as we have kept several daughters.

That is a weird genetic abnormality I have never seen before.

Shorthorn in the woodpile of many many British breeds. Ton of Fleckvieh in herefords as well.
