Angus Sale - "Heifer Pregnancy" purchase questions

Over the past 2 years, I have a started small registered black angus herd - purchased mature cows at auction and have bred AI to quality bulls.

I am going to attend the "Plateau Pride Angus Sale" in Crossville, TN. The auction catalog lists several "Heifer Pregnancy" lots. What are the details of such a purchase? Is there a standard purchase agreement?

Contact the sale manager and ask them.

Terminology varies between breeds and states. The sales I've been to guarentee the pregnacy will result in a full term calf and some guarentee a live calf, setting dystocia (calving problems aside).

Agree with Dusty Britches... contact the sales manager, i got into the angus breed two years ago after being in the charolais business for 10+ years.... The differences between charolais sales and angus sales were quite different!!
