Has anyone had a problem with having algae in there diesel fuel? What product can you use to get rid of this stuff? We have one tractor that is you run it below 1/4 of a tank it will clog the sediment bowl everytime.

LF - there are some biocides that could kill the algae but they are a short-term fix. The algae problem is almost always caused by water in the fuel. I would drain the tank and then flush the sediment out with diesel. You may not have to remove the tank to do this depending on your tractor setup. If you don't already have a water separator (usually near or part of the sediment bowl) you should get one. Check and drain it often. Also, check/change out your fuel filter. I've encountered this problem too and flushing the tank worked.
There are also some products that when added to the fuel will help to disperse the water (condensation)

Once you get it cleaned, keep it full so condensation doesn't add more water to the tank.
There is an additive that you buy and need to be adding to the tank regularly. The company you buy your fuel from should sell it and will be able to tell you how often, how much, ect... Talk to them and tell them your problem. ;-)
