I have a 4 day old bull calf that I am feeding on the bottle. (bucket) I went to feed him Saturday evening an found him having seizures about every 45 seconds. He would stand up and in a few seconds he would fall backwards a seize up. I took his temp and it was high. I put a fan on him and soaked him down in water. He cooled off in about an hour and took his full half gallon of milk. I've raised bottle calves for a several years but I've never had this happen before. It's hard to keep a barn cool in this kind of heat. I'm posting this for any of you who have young stock in pens. Keep the air moving and lots of it.

 yes the heat will causes seizures, organ failure and death. Keep the young in shade, fans, and Banamine will
bring the temp down. A rubbing alcohol sponge bath on a very
small one also will cool the body. Never use ice cold water,
it can cause shock-- cool water or tepid. ;-)

I had one like that, but he was'nt a bucket calf. We kept him in a lot that had shade and once in awhile he would have one of those fits. Just cooled him off with a water hose. When he was big enough, shipped him off.
