Not like me to post in the coffee shop, but I figure most of us shave. I've seen a few people post a pic of themselves that didn't. I've been using a 5 bladed razor. They are expensive, but last a lot longer than a cheapie. They make for a really close shave. I used to hate to shave, but went ahead and shaved every day. I don't mind it to bad with a 5 blade. Never a nick, and a very close shave.

I have a schick hydro i think is what its called and I agree those things cut close and I like them. The only reason i shave is cause I can't grow a beard and if I didnt i would have patches all over my face.

I use a Braun Electric and shave off the survivors with a 5 blade. I hate shaving and only shave on the days i have to see clients or attend a corporate meeting!

I may never shave again after i retire. The wife says i have HObo tendencies.

Dang Kenny I thought I was bad. Shaved my head and beard for the first time since 1991 last month. My daughter had never seen me without a beard. And when she saw me the first thing she said was shaving makes you look old Dad. I kept the clean look for 5 days and won't be shaving again.

3way.. I know what u mean. MY hobo side comes out during the weekends. I switched over from a razor to and electric shaver (Braun) about 10 years ago. Never knew what I was missing. I never thought they gave a close shave, but they sure do.

My boss made the mistake of telling me he didn't care if I was clean shaven. I shave for church. Really cuts down on the chaffing and I can get a weeks worth out of even the cheapest of razors.

I was threatened with not graduating in high school because I had a mustache I kept it and still graduated. had to shave for 20 years because of a job but the last 12 years I have had some kind of facial hair the last 2 years full beard although i do keep it trimmed. I hate shaving. My wife likes the beard but has been telling me lately it looks like a calico cat with the grey, brown and red patches.

Don't know if you know this Mike but you can buy replacement blades and heads for the Braun on Amazon for around $20.

I switched to a straight razor about 3 years ago and have never gone back to a regular razor. When I first switched a have my face all cut up but after a while hit the hang of it. I like it better than the regular razor blades.

I only shave on Mondays but my stubble grows a little slower than some. I do have these 2 gray patches on my chin that are perfect circles. Kinda look like another set of eyeballs but gray.
One disposable razor will last me a month. Unless my wife gets ahold of it

Never had a beard or mustache but they look ok on other folks as long as they keep them clean and neat. I shave everyday. Been doing it all my adult life. Use a Gillette razor but can't tell you the model.

Yep. Thats exactly where I buy mine. :) Thanks for the info anyway.

So is it really necessary to have 5 blades, would think that the first two or three would do all the work? Is this not just a marketing ploy?
