anyone know how to make a 4-wheeler go faster without buying all that mess of equipment? sometomes i have trouble getting through the mud with it because i cant get enough speed.

I dont know about top end increase, doesnt it have a Rev Limiter? The following will get you to top end quicker. Without a lot of money.

1. NGK Iredium Spark Plug. $10.00
2. K & N Air Filter $70.00
3. Full synthetic Oil in the Differential. $10.00
4. Premium Unleaded Gasoline $3.00
5. A very high quality Racing 2 Stroke Oil. $5.00
6. Precise measurment in Oil-Gasoline Ratio. Priceless

As far as getting through the mud, Yamaha Banshee is a 2 Wheel Drive machine, thats half of the problem.
Are you using Stock Tires?
There are many After Market Tires available which will increase your traction in Mud. This can usually be done for around $200.00

The Yamaha Banshee was not designed to be a Mud Eating Machine, it is a Motocross ATV designed for high speed Motocross Racing. So you are at a disadvantage in the Mud. I hope this helps. Good Luck TRM.
