Yesterday a CT member from a couple hours away came to our stockyard. Best thing was he brought his young son and his dad.
I had told him about some Simmental bulls nearby and they stopped and bought one. But the best part was the young son picked the bull. Im talking maybe5, 6 or 7 years old. It got me to thinking about the fact that most youngsters here don't have a clue about what goes on in the cattle business.
I think soon there is going to be 3 generations in that family coming to buy and sell. We dont see that much anymore. I truly dont have anyone to take over. You guys are welcome anytime but keep teaching the young son.
