2m record setting ham

Help Support CattleToday:

I'm normally at the ham breakfast. Missed it this year. Saw the hams before the contest, and they all looked good to me.

Bigfoot, my aunt lives up there and she is an avid ham person and goes to stuff like this. She and my uncle both like the hams extremely salty. Saltier the better is what they say. Just wondering is that typical of Kentucky ham lovers or just their preference. She brought us a ham one year and you could only eat it in small doses. Good but very salty and much more than a Tennessee or Virginia ham.

Most hams are too salty for my taste. I haven't had ham from other places, to know how we stack up.
