All I heard him say was "Would this have occurred if the passenger was white? I don't believe so."NECowboy":3udhbg0i said:Where did you hear him say that?Jackson":3udhbg0i said:When you have a GOVERNOR of a state saying that a white cop killed a black man just because he was black and the cop is a racist that is the beginning signs of societal collapse.
I sure never heard it. - (sob)
Minnesota and Upper Midwest (Wisconsin and parts of Iowa) are disgusting white liberal states with socialist populations. They have traditionally had low crime and few problems thus they could afford to be knuckle headed but that seems to be changing everywhere. For some reason they are way more politically correct and blue than the Plains. That was a racist comment on the part of the governor. Minnesota the home of Al Franken, yuck. Love to go up to Northern MN to fish but maybe I will go to Wisconsin or UP this next time. MN doesn't need my money when the governor can make a comment like that.
I think he was being truthful. I can hardly believe it happened at all.
I think all the racist comments are being added by others. And everyone needs to allow cooler heads to prevail.
I don't see it as being racist. I see it as addressing the event quickly and head on with a question on everyones mind
in a truthful manner. In an effort to prevent further violence that seems to follow in other states by acknowledging
their concerns are being heard and taken seriously.
I would like to believe it couldn't happen to me and so I believe in this case Governor Goofy is actually correct.
I think if it had been me reaching for my wallet during a routine traffic stop the cop would have pulled his gun,
but would not have fired before seeing what was in my hand.
I think in split second decisions a clean cut white guy is given the benefit of doubt over a clean cut black guy
here in Minnesota. I feel very very sad for all of the victims' friends, relatives and co-workers.
I also feel sad for the cop and for what he is going to go through and for all his friends, family and co-workers.
