We should find the guns that committed this tragedy and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

Care to clarify your point here clod?

If your attempt was humor it escapes me.
sarcasm is an effective tool.

Time and place for everything.

Yep, but that time has already been appointed by the powers that be. People in high places have already (as of late last night) stated that these type atrocities are all the more predictable and easy due to ready availability of firearms and not enough regulations. The latest political (Washington D.C.) call for more gun control started before the last sniper had even been apprehended or was dead.

Make no mistake no one deserves to be ambushed and murdered. But guns aren't the problem. We're in bad shape as a nation, between race relations, gun control, and rights for the weirdos, I see nothing but trouble ahead.
I don't want to get this thread locked, but we need to pray for a peaceful solution.

It sure seems like everything we try as a nation doesn't work. The little bit of hope and change I thought we might get 8 years ago backfired. Everything is worse now.
So I see no choice but to pray for a peaceful solution.

Ummm.......no correct way to respond to that without violating board rules...... :2cents:

The suspect was heard yelling out how he was upset because of white police officers killing black men. Where is the outrage from the black community about black men killing black men?

:compute: :compute: :compute: ......... never mind. No sense in getting this thread locked.

When you have a GOVERNOR of a state saying that a white cop killed a black man just because he was black and the cop is a racist that is the beginning signs of societal collapse.

That was very sloppy on his part. I'll admit that video looked bad but you just can't come out and say crap like that until all the facts are in.

Classic politician playing to the PC media . The media is foaming at the mouth fanning the flames

I believe you are speaking of our Governor Goofy.
I believe he was trying to avert escalating the situation here in Minnesota, given we had serious outcries over
recent events in which the actions of the police were completely justified in dealing with thugs.

Now this happens to a seemingly good citizen employed 14 years by St Paul schools with no history of any police contact other than a previous traffic ticket, just going about his day with his 4 yr old daughter and her mother returning from grocery shopping. It appears to be a bad mistake by a dumb cop without evil intent but with a
very bad and very sad result.

The media does seem to be fanning the flames and adding to what the governor actually said.
An observer noted many years ago during a disaster the media seems to believe it is their job to keep the terror going
by portraying the worst of any event whenever possible and speculation rather than just reporting the facts.

Minnesota and Upper Midwest (Wisconsin and parts of Iowa) are disgusting white liberal states with socialist populations. They have traditionally had low crime and few problems thus they could afford to be knuckle headed but that seems to be changing everywhere. For some reason they are way more politically correct and blue than the Plains. That was a racist comment on the part of the governor. Minnesota the home of Al Franken, yuck. Love to go up to Northern MN to fish but maybe I will go to Wisconsin or UP this next time. MN doesn't need my money when the governor can make a comment like that.
