I have been looking at hay to buy since we came up short this year. I found someone who had decent priced hay but it was Johnson grass. Is Johnson Grass hay safe for cows and calves to eat?

I already use the stuff. The percentage accuration I get is about $500 a ton. It has fish oil in it so it stinks a little but not nasty to work with. Its a solid not a liquid. It increases forage intake.

I had it done on a bull i wasuse trying toto sell a few months ago . After the bull is tested he cannot be with any cows until the results are in. State law.
