    Bulls for Brangus Cows

If it were me I would select the top 10 Females Seperate them and start using AI to bring in better genetics for replacements. Regarding bulls you can go wrong with an angus hereford or sim angus bull.

Swinging B has some good looking cattle those bullet proof sons are nice. I do prefer the older genetics like like lbar, levi, cherokee etc.. As of now all my heifers I picked up are puppy dog gentle. Even though they are a bit ticked off after getting tagged, branded, and vaccinated over the...

    Traditional Simmentals

Not a huge difference in calving proplems in comparison to most charloias bulls used by commercial cattleman. Someone could really corner the market.

    Some need to catch Up

I like everything in this statement. One reason why after our first year raising replacements we will be selling entire herd and purchasing fewer purebreds with better genetics. If we want to raise females that people are proud to have we need to give our program a fighting chance. Only way to...

Court of Public Opinion - Beefmaster Bull Calf

Very nice calf. Like others said id like to clean him up a bit underneath but using him on angus cows... the off spring would be the keeping kind. Im too curious about age, weight, and bloodlines.

Just as a tid bit. I was at a sale last month at our local auction bar and i saw two paint befmaster steers ring the bell and top the calf sale. My point being i think when they are good they are good no matter what color they are.
