Very nice pictures and animals. I don't know much about them and I've never seen one in "real life" but from what I've heard they seem to be a great breed. They sure look productive.

Truer words were never spoken. Fortunately up here the shows are still more about the cattle rather than the fitting-most of the 4-H shows don't even allow fitting, just bathing/brushing and a clip job if you so choose. A little bit of fitting is OK, but all the sprays and glues and false hair...

I'd say get the wife one to keep her happy but spend your money on a breed you can make money with at the sale barn if you want to be in the cattle business. I think your wife might be disappointed though..all the belties I've met have been nasty little critters. :lol:
