    Raw Milk

One of my grandpas sisters died in childhood (I think under 5) from drinking raw milk that was produced on their own farm. After that they got a small home pasteurizer. So even off your own farm doing everything right there can be problems. But having said that, veterinary practices have come...

    Use sick leave for vacation

I graduated in 2009 and that was definitely not the case. You only needed a doctors note if you went over the 10 allotted days off during the school year. You couldn't just not show up, your parents had to call you in sick or you had to put vacation paperwork weeks prior.

    large pizza order

Never has been an issue with me, but very true. It wasn't that uncommon for me to have a guy tip twice what they were charged. Always did get the best tips in the salon.

    Government subsidies on cattle

Don't forget that also came with a tax credit. ;-) Mixed with end of year sales and that program it was actually cheaper to buy a new car than it was one that had 60K miles on it.

    Government subsidies on cattle

I did. Of course it wasn't really a junker, it was just a lot easier than searcher for a buyer that wouldn't have given me the same price. Which they gave more than the original price (dealer auction).

    Government subsidies on cattle

Looking at the numbers for the area I grew up in, doesn't seem like many people figured out how to play the system. The names towards the top of the numbers have the highest number of acres in the area and work hard, so their placement makes sense. The things I found odd were the people living...

    Texan's Call to Arm's

I don't know about Indiana's but Ohio's is super easy, stuff you learn by junior high.

    Texan's Call to Arm's

The standardized testing stuff is a joke. In Ohio, where I grew up we took the OGT (Ohio graduation test) as sophomores....kinda makes you wonder what your supposed to do your junior and senior year. You were already taught everything the state requires. :?:

    Hungary Halts Monsanto GMO Corn

I think some of the comments on the article are hilarious. Hopefully the farmers get reimbursed for their losses. :(

9 things will disappear in our lifetime

The cloud thing has already started. Anyone with apple products should know of iCloud. Backs everything up for you pictures, phone numbers, aps, ect. Not quite as extreme as it was talking about but it's a start towards that.

And the idiots just keep on piling up

I'm sure there are nice people in Richland Hills, but this guy mixed with the people i have met from that town, make me never wanna be near that part of the DFW area.

Things to do in Kansas City, MO

I guess your right, i just assumed it was because of where a friends house was at, but i forgot she went to high school on the Missouri side. I usually spend all my time in the area in Overland Park and Leawood now....great food and great shopping.

Things to do in Kansas City, MO

The airport is nice and laid back, its on the far west side of the Kansas side of town. There are a lot of amazing restraunts in the KC area, just as a heads up, make sure to read reviews on resteraunts before going (and yes im thinking of one place in particular, pm if u want the name) there...

    Must be a good customer

 Nope, just beef. Although i know someone who uses venison and i have tried it with chicken. So i guess dog would work, but wouldn't suggest it. :yuck:
