That first calf always seems to take so long to come but once it does the rest go pretty quick. Love this time of year. These will be Hector calves correct?

Definitely. But without pelvic measurements that’s all you have to bank on.

If they’re good big heifers I wouldn’t worry. Worst that can happen is you’re going to have to break out the calf puller. Just keep an eye on them. Not much you can do now.

About 2 months post calving you can bump a calf. Usually. Not always. I had one last year I couldn’t bump until closer to calving.
