    Pull the hood off when it fogs up on you and hold the lens close to the weld. The fog will go away and as long as it is warm it will stay clear. Been working for me for about 35 years.. :) :) :)

    I have a red cedar chunk of wood that I will be using for a mantle. It has Bark on one side that I need to remove before polying. Can anyone tell me how they remove the bark. I have seen them at flea markets where all the bark was removed, but not sure how to go about it.

    how do you make skulls look good

    You can shine the horns up with Comet or Ajax. I have done this before when cleaning up a blow horn. Works real good and makes them shine good. Let me know how you come out.

    The hogs where I live will really be hard to completely get rid of. My place adjoins a National Forest and the other land around me noone has any cows in their pasture except for a guy on the west side of me. the other ones are used for mostly hunting, so I think it will always be an issue...

    That would be the way go, but there is several pastures close to mine that don't want any dogs on their land, so the dogs are out. Already thought of that one.

    Thanks guys for all the replies. It is really appreciated. We actually caught about 15 or so on the place about a 2 month's ago with a friends trap. I thought we had thinned them out some, but put the game cam on the tree and there is a ton of them and they are back rooting up the pasture/deer...

    Anyone have any good designs for making a hog trap. I have seen some, but am interested to know if anyone has a good one. They have to be thinned out and if that is the best way to go then I will make a couple. Thanks for all your replies.

    I hate to just kill for the sake of killing them, but I need to thin them out somehow. They are worse then last year. I guess I need to find some people that wants some meat. I like it myself, but I can only take so much in my freezer.

    Wasp stings.

    I read on my email about taping a penny on the sting and it would work. I also sent that same email to m y sister and she tried it the other day and said it really worked. Wouldn't hurt to try it. I believe I will the next time I get stung.

    I just am not sure if it would be good for them to be licking the carbon steel getting to their feed. I believe a feeder made out of 1/2 of a 24 inch pipe would last a long time and they wouldn't be able to tear it up. I was going to make it wide enough that they could flip it over and about 16...

    Clearing fence line

    I just recently bought a place and talked to the neighbor about helping with the fence. He told me he was not planning on messing with any cows, so I put the fence 5 " inside my property line. Now he can't connect to my fence unless he wants to own half of it.
