One of my pastures is 22 acres of real good bottom land pasture. It was fertilized this spring, hay cut off 3/4 of it in mid May followed by 100lb per acre of Nitrogen. If we get normal rain and I follow up later this summer with nitrogen again how many 575 lb hefers can I run on it? Thanks

Early spring grass plus rye. It is being grazed but not heavy. Fertilized four weeks ago. Lot more growth than last year. So thick in places that it will have to be cut for summer grass to do any good.

In Arkansas- fertilized my pasture middle of April. Early spring here and the grass is high and thick and needing cut. My question is how log will the effects of the fertilizer continue with the new grass that will come on after the cutting? With prices like they are would like to conserve...

Mine have been very, very light in the mineral for a whole month. Do most of you keep salt out with the mineral? Do you think the salt cuts down on the mineral consumption?

The Cimarron Max is doing a very good job on my Horsenettle. It is slow but is killing the plant and roots.

Cimarron Max has been on the Horsenettle in my pasture for close to two weeks. It appears it is going to work. Will advise final results. Very slow acting.

The pasture specialist at Dow for our area told me to mix 1/2 oz. with I think four pts. Of the 2-4-d that comes with it. I am not sure of my kill either. He said it might take up to three weeks. Will let you know.
