    Redland Black Angus Sale

It was a short sale but they sold more like 100 bulls. Auctioneer Joe Goggins can really rattle through the bulls. And also they have two sales a year with one coming in Nov. I think their average was around 3500. I ended up with two bulls, it is awful hard to find bulls with that breeding...

    Local Sales

I have heard Eayrs have good cattle. Their neighbors say they are probably some of the best black angus cattle around. I have never seen them which is too bad since I only live about 40 miles away. Have to go over there and have a look some day. I wonder how the Idland Cattle Co. sale went...

    Local Sales

Went to a polled hereford sale the 31st. of March. Out of 65 bulls I believe they took 38 home. The high seller went for 3250 then the next bull dropped down to 2500 and then down to sub 2000 dollar range. Alot of bulls sold for 1300-1500. The sale was postponed a day but I dont think it would...

    Midland Bull Test

I haven't looked at the salebook much but I would imagine Robbie Cordingley out of Idaho will do fairly well. I'm not saying he is gonna have the top bull but he usually does very well at Midland on a consistant basis.

Registered Angus Bull and also calves for sale.

I hope your able to get rid of him. The only bad thing is that a 5 year old bull is pretty close to the end of his breeding duties. If he is a big bull there is a possibility that he could bring between $1000-$1500 pounded out at the local stockyard. Good luck.

    Express Angus Bull Sale?

I agree with you SEC on the fertility part. There are lots of breeders down in my area that simply wont use much Precision/Future Direction blood in their cowherd. One registered fella had about 40 Precision and Future Direction bulls, 28 of them semen tested bad. I have alot of respect for...

    Angus

I have never seen the Jauer cattle in person but I did get the sale book last year. I also talked to the owner and his program is similar to that of Ohlde Cattle Co. They specialize in a more moderate framed easy fleshing animal. He called his cows "power cows" he said they are shorter legged...

What kind of sales are you looking for production or weekly sales?

    Edwards Sale

The Cliff Edwards family owns the ranch along with Edwards Air Service. It is just a small airline out of Billings and Kalispell I believe. From what I understand they will not be in the cattle business in the near future. They are also planning on selling the ranches also. Cliff Edwards is also...

    Herefords on RFD

Courtney Herefords have damn fine cattle. Them bulls were bred to be used by ranchers in the big country. They were not intended to be sent back east to be put in with ten cows on 40 acres. They are breeding them for their country and their intended customer base.

    Legacy Land & LIvestock Sale

I watched part of it while I was in for lunch. Looked like it was a good sale to be at if you were a buyer. The bulls weren't overfed, they looked like they were developed the way they should be in my mind. The high was around five grand with lots of good bulls going in the two thousand range...

    Stevenson Basin sale

Good point BRG, they do a good job of treating their upper end customers right. Some of their better customers are also allowed to sell bred heifers in their sale. You are also right that they are a great place to buy in volume such as getting many brothers and half brothers. I guess I just...

    Stevenson Basin sale

There is nothing wrong with their cattle as long as you don't mind overpaying for the same quality you can find at a much smaller outfit. You will need deep pockets if you expect to buy your top picks in their sale.
