    Bobcat 873G

I put a screen back on it. I thought it would keep the pickup in the bottom of the tank

    Sold

Sounds like it went to a good home. I am sure he appreciates it. I know how you feel I get attached to stuff too.

    6.7 Cummins

Spend the money for the deletes and you will love the truck. I replaced ball joints with greasable ones from moog and they come with a lifetime warranty. That was 60k miles ago and no problems so far. All trucks have quirks but I have had good service from my dodge trucks.

GM 6.0 vs 6.2 liter engines

My wife had a Yukon with a 6.2 and it was very powerful but the trade off was it was a gas hog. You could noticeably watch the gauge fall. Salesman tried to talk her into a 5.3 but she like the engine sound. She like it a lot less when she realized how much it was costing to keep gas in it!

    National Farm and Machinery Show.

If you have never been I would say it would be a good time. Is it worth a ten hour drive is a tough call. I am two hours out so not a huge deal.

    Battery Maintainers

I just bought two new John Deere strong box batteries for my tractor and they are leaking acid down both sides of the tractor. I guess they were overfilled but I am not too impressed with them. I guess that is the dealers fault as they are shipped dry.

    Round Balers

Largest producer in my county has several bar type NH balers. I guess some are for parts. He has hired hands run them so I guess that it why he likes them so much but he could afford any baler he wanted.

    Round Balers

A 4x5 baler would be max on a 5320 in my opinion. I am pulling a 5x5 with a 2750 and it handles it but to be honest I would like to have a bigger tractor. It is around 80 hp and much heavier than a 5320. I would like to try net wrap but I have heard others say that the net freezing to the...

Maybe they were stored outside and water came in around the shifter boots?

    square D pump switch ?

You could buy a small transformer and safely do what you are wanting to do. It would generate its own neutral from the 240 volt. They use them in rooftop AC units so there is power for the service tech.

John Deere 2640 tiger stripe with a hydraulic reverser.

    JD 2840 tractor

I have a 2350 and a 2750. They are very comfortable and user friendly tractors. Lots of power and hydraulics are smooth. On the 2750 I have had the engine rebuilt because a o ring on a cylinder liner faled. Injection pump and lift pump. Transmission rebuilt and new clutch and pressure...

    Frontier mower

That is what my local dealer told me. I looked at the frontier and liked them but ended up going with a Kuhn because I had one before and liked it. I plan on keeping it for a while and it was a heavier mower. Another reason is that the Kuhn is quick hitch ready and I thought I might try one...

    Frontier mower

Could I survive without a 4 wheel drive?

My tractors are both 2 wheel drive because that is all I could afford starting out but I get along fine feeding. I drove a 7040 kubota raking hay. It was 4x4 with a cab and loader. The ride was so bad I felt like I had been in a fight and lost bigly! Lol. I would rather have 4x4 on a loader...
