Bobcat 873G

Has anyone ever changed a fuel tank pick up line on a Bobcat 873G skid loader ? If so did you replace it with a screen/check valve or just a straight tube ?
It has a cab with AC so there is no room to work they are hard to get to.

I have watched that video but that is 753 without AC lots of difference. My 873G there is no room, I even read where one person pulled the motor to get to it. We got it out and are now repairing it in the process of going back together with it

I put a screen back on it. I thought it would keep the pickup in the bottom of the tank
