Gooseneck Trailer on a Service Truck

Thanks for the responses. I think this is the route I'll end up going. There's enough crap to go wrong on a daily basis as it is. No sense adding to it by trying to cobble this rig together. ~~BC

Gooseneck Trailer on a Service Truck

Alright gang, I've been sitting in my dorm room, pondering possibilities. I've been studying the possibility of pulling a gooseneck trailer with a F250 with a service-body on it. I looked at this scenario 2 years ago and determined it would be impossible. I saw a lifted pickup pulling a...

    Jeep pickup-------cool..............

I have a '59 Willys pickup. All original with the flathead straight 6, 3 speed in the floor. It is a great, heavy sprung little truck. Wish somebody would make something comparable today. ~~BC

How much tractor horsepower do I need?

A John Deere 4020 wouldn't be too hateful. Although,if you are going to use this tractor to deliver your cattle's feed,I would look for something 4wd.(That boys,is the voice of experience!) BC

    Tractor Brands

Just trying to get an idea of what you guys run. I put Ford and New Holland together because New Holland took over Ford. I counted Case IH seperate from New Holland because in mind mind it is a different grade of tractor. But anyway, vote and tell us how you like your particular brand. And please...

    1975 Chevy Truck

Anybody know anything about the 1975 Chevy? I am going to ask my neighbor if I can buy his that has been sitting for a while and was wondering what you guys know about them. It won't go on the road; it will just be an "on farm" truck. Thanks BC :help:

    John Deere 70

Well, I don't know much about them except how to work on 'em and with 'em. I am here to tell all of you that the easiest tractor in the world is a 2 cylinder Deere. Besides that I don't have a clue....... :cboy: ~~BC

mini small vs large round balers

I agree with the above. It seems that those "over-seas" balers and mowers don't come with much costumer service. Stick with JD, NH, and Gehl. That is my .02 ~~BC

Can a MF 1010 Utility Tractor handle a 3-point shredder

I agree on the no. However here is a little yanmar powered Deere that would make a great little mowing tractor. I use ours with a five foot bushhog through all kinds of thick brush and trees and rocks and cats (just kidding) so far it hasn't given me any trouble with 1600 hours and counting...
