When I got into the tractor I checked the shifter seemed to be...

Wondering about hydro- stat transmissions for farm tractor

RCP, I have to agree, depends what you need it for, very handy as a loader tractor and yard tractor. Not made for a hard pulling farming tractor where you need full time power even when not using it at full power. The Hydros. when pulling steady will get too hot in my opinion? I've only had a...

    what is it worth opinion?

Did you buy the truck new? Some folks around here order their new trucks without the bed, I will ask what it saved them to buy without the bed, I was on Interstate 90 a few weeks ago and saw a load of trucks and some were without beds also. Good luck with your new truck! 101

A 40 - 45 Hp 3 cylinder, couldn't start it when hot, needed it tied to a light pole below 30 degrees, ran so hot you couldn't stand sit on it when haying from blowing the hot air from tran, and motor, and if you could keep the clutch and rear end in it, it would burn...

Hydraulic drive hay-bine. Any one run one?

I think that hay-bine has an enclosed hydraulic system with the oil reserve in the tounge and that the pto pump runs the cutter, your tractor hydraulics lift the cutter and swings it from side to side !! If the pump is run very much with a bad seal or low on oil it will quickly ruin the case...
