A friend of mine called today and said that their 14 year old arabian horse was eating feed and drinking water today and it was coming out of the nose and mouth. Any idea on what may be causing this?

HFSimmOH I know what u mean. I have four that were AI'd and they are four days past due now. I just had one that went over two days. Glad to here one dropped with no problems. We have had mostly heifers.

Sorry about your loss. I had a heifer get in the hay ring before caustic. She got her self out.

Thanks Yes I did alot of worrying the last month. I guess it was all for nothing. The calf is doing good. It is a little heifer.

Thanks Yea, I got back to it alright. I was alittle concerned, because calf was coming to me and momma was on her heels. :)

I took the advice. "Be patient" Calf was born today. Two days after her due date. Yoo hoo :D

Nothing new. I check on her twice a day. I asked the vet about her and he said we could bring her in and have her gloved, but I have given him so much of my money lately. She isn't bagged up. She is still eating and drinking. She is with the herd. She is still having a little bit of stringy...
