Hi, The wire is hot and the eyebolts are insulated. Cows and bulls have alot of respect for the wire the wire. Have some pigs that dont have respect for the hot wire, use non barbed wire and some kind of woven plastic with metal wire. Jeroen.

Found my saler bullcalf dead in the pasture. The day before he was running and playing with the other calves. 3 weeks old had a bad start it was raining for days when he was born. Put him and his mom in a barn for a few days and turn them out in some nice weather. Had a litle scours, but not...

calves are sired blonde or sim, cows are salers or mixes of saler, belgianbleu, sim and herf.

Have 4 purebred saler cows at the moment and 2 yearling heiffers. 15 cows and heiffers that are salers cross. They are not very common in my country. They are easy to keep and are moneymakers because they are cheap in maintenance. Do not understand why there are not more farmers who have them.

Sold these two guys today, the cows' bankaccount was almost empty and there are some bills to be payed. Got 800€ a piece. Born in march, they will be picked up over a week. Don't have to wean them. Jeroen.
