What is your procedure to read and keep updated on the forums? Personally, I log on and hit the New Posts button and start down thru the topics reading the ones that interest me. THE LOGIC OF MASKS: (Didn't write this. Copied from another source.) If everyone is wearing masks to prevent COVID, then why are they ramping up Flu Shots to unprecedented levels? Wouldn't masks also prevent the Flu? Let's go out to eat, 2020 style... 1. Arrive at restaurant, take...

This is old but worth repeating When the Music Stopped (For those who are unaware: At all military base theaters, the National Anthem is played before the movie begins.) This is written from a Chaplain in Iraq: I recently attended a showing of 'Superman 3' here at LSA Anaconda, Iraq. We have a...

    My helper

Youngest grandchild spending the week with Grandpa. He wanted to help me haul some calves to the sale yesterday, but found out it was hard work! I'm enjoying the hell out of it, just spending time with him. He just asked me what time are we going to the sale. He's taking me fishing tomorrow...

    Our real problem

it seems like the gate has been locked so I started this topic. Although it seem like the problem is radicals encroaching on our country, and that is true to some extent, the real problem lies amongst us. The people we send to DC no longer go there to represent us the voters. From the first day...

    English lesson for today

"Complete" or "Finished"? No dictionary has ever been able to define the difference between "complete" and "finished." However, during a recent linguistic conference, held in London, England, Samsundar Balgobin, a Guyanese linguist, was asked to make that very distinction...

    Bad luck this week

Had first calf of this season. Heifer's first calf went well. She handled everything herself and had a nice bull calf Tues. Wed I found the calf dead. He was laying in the hay around the rack. I can only guess that he was stepped on by another cow. Hadn't been dead long because he wasn't stiff...

    Need help with diagnosis

I could use some help diagnosing this cow. Not sure what these lesions are. Could it be ringworm? Otherwise she seems healthy. Hopefully the pics are clear enough. She is the cow to the left. Only one in the herd with the problem. Thanks! http://s1278.photobucket.com/user/bbird ... 0.jpg.html...
