Abit different update. Three newborns at my own place, not my mom's. The first calving season for my own herd. Three heifers calved all with heifers.
Brown swiss sired out of holstein. 280 days. Gonna use beef bulls on all dairy ones after their first calves.
Blondex out of limxblondex. Around 275 days. Will need to check my notes, but very early birth.
Pure Parthenaise heifer! 285 days.

Forgot to add. All born today 
The first two almost at the same time as while assisting the first one saw that the second has feet out already. Two hours later went to check on the first two and saw that one more heifer started calving.

Very special lady born today. Sired by Maine anjou, out of simxlimx cow. 289days, calved herself, but a big calf.

Your pastures look a lot better. The mud has turned to grass. That's a pretty calf. It will be nice to see it on it's feet and growing.

Only the third Maine Anjou calf and second heifer. Add her colour, which I really wanted to get and her dam is a real good cow. So almost a perfect heifer was born. Needless to say I wanted it to be a heifer.
Her dam's first heifer just had her first calf- red with white blaze and is proving to be a very promising young cow, so more heifers from the same dam are more than welcome.

It got green real quick as we had been getting an enormous amount of rain for the past month.
Today:
Definitelly gonna use the same bull on this cow.

One newborn from yesterday- piedmontese sired heifer, out of 10 years old limx cow, 274 days gestation.
And one from tonight from the dairy corner- brown swiss heifer out of sim x holstein heifer. Sexed straw, 282days gestation. The last dairy calf for this year. Used dairy on a couple dairy heifers, but will start using only beef bulls on them in the future.

Another heifer born yesterday. 75%simmental, 279 days gestation. Dam is 3rd calver and that's her first heifer.

Moving to an end slowly. Mom finished with her herd. We still have 3 heifers left, all due on 23-27th of July.
Three newborns from yesterday.
Belgian blue sired heifer out of older dairy cow at 281 day.
Two pure parthenaise calves out of heifers. Same sire of the calves and same maternal sire. Heifer at 283 days and bull at 293 days.

She sure is. It's the last year for her dam as she started having some health issues, so really wanted that she had a heifer this time. Last year she had a black limx heifer, so one more heifer to add.

It sure will be. The bull calf should be raised for future breeding, so probably will be able to see him fully grown as well.

Loved looking at your cattle over the years. Yes you use breeds that have fallen out of favor in the USA. That however is not a problem in your country, only wish it was the same here in the states. One of the reasons I got out of the cattle business was having to play the game of the order buyer. The buyer that would discount me for a “ touch of ear” in September but paid top dollar for the same animals in late February and March.
Bravo on the double muscling, just more pounds of quality meat and great carcass yield.
