Son bought this big guy to put on the Hereford cows and our commercial gals . Registered Brangus, he’ll be 3 late fall . If we like his calves we’ll breed him to a group of our angus cows next year .

I like him! Have you seen the papers? Is there a "U" in front of the registration number? Do the names Salacoa or Blackwater appear in any of his lineage?

Papers are coming, not sure if my son saw them or not . I know he looked at the numbers they had on him . This breeder also runs commercial cattle and had used him on a herd and had several calves out of him .

His brand and tag # is 514J5 no U and he doesn’t remember any of the names on the pedigree. . Will update when we get it .

Just kidding, I like him. Don't see much Brahma influence here so a very amateur opinion but he looks like what I think a good marketable Brangus should.

First calf hit the ground today out of Mississippi Hippie , our Brangus bull . Comercial cow , don't really know her breeding. Came with the herd when we rented this farm . Bull calf . 8 days early
