Mama was crazy. Well, fast! Maybe that's the word. I almost put em back together. Just a hair too expensive for my tastes.
No name yet....
Neighbor wants to come look at her tomorrow and see if there is a "connection"
Still Undecided where she will end up...

It's so cute how she gets underneath her. It's gonna be funny the first time Lil' Enough lifts Bessie off the ground trying to get into her favorite nursing spot! Some of my "little" heifer calves have astounded me, the way they can lift their momma's back feet off the ground when they're on a mission, LOL! (Only for a moment, I don't mean they HOLD them off the ground!)

As an aside tho, L'nuf is such a sweet sweet girl.
small as she is, I made her 2/3's of a bottle. She downed it!I'll do the same in the morning I reckon. Work her up slowly. Kinda wish she was a breedable heifer.

Still going.....
Be glad when the grass comes full bore! Shes dropping condition even with feed and I don't like it. Of coarse, these 2 are taking a LOT of milk.

I bought ya another one my lovely gal.
Have a tug on Ol Bessie lil girl...
This calf is aggressive and hungry! I'm gonna pen Bessie with all 3 and see what happens. She will be penned tonight with this new heifer ONLY. I'll let her 2 in tmrw morning when they are good and hungry.
Actually bought 2 more today. Here's a nice lil bottle broke bull. Been on bottle 3 weeks.

Val and Ford are eating hay with mama!
The 3rd seems to have it figured out. May turn em all out this weekend. I've been kicking the 2 big ones out for the evening so lil one can definitely get bonded. Getting trickier every evening, as the bigger calves are wanting to eat feed and hay too!

Lil 'Nuf has decided she will nurse from whomever she darn well pleases....
You would think with her nursing Bessie AND Brandy she would GROW.
Silly Lil fart twin anyway.
Grass is not as great this year. She's having a hard time keeping condition this year. But she's dang sure raising a litter!
Val and Ford are growing for sure.

I wish you could bring them over here, I'd babysit them and feed them. We have SO much grass this year, and only one horse and one heifer to eat it all. It's belly-deep on them in some areas.
