What time do you get up

Seems before I retired, it was always 4-5am. Now retired, since I don't have to get up at that time....it's still 4-5am. Occasionally it's as late as 6am, but just as occasionally it's 3am too. Since retirement, my wake up time isn't quite as consistent as before. I know for sure though...

This will be a very sad year

Not sure the age, we bought used 4 years ago. I'll see if there is anything on the welder, model number etc that will tell me. I will be taking some more pictures and will be sure and get the welder up on the webpage, sometime this week.

This will be a very sad year

For me...probably not. For other family members .... yes, provided we don't get burned on prices of what we need to sell. I have no doubt some adjustments to do, perhaps reviving some past interests that I've not had time to do. No doubt, selling the ranch will open up some time for me. I...

This will be a very sad year

I retired a couple of years ago, in great anticipation of what’s ahead in retirement. We intended to sell our house near Tomball, and build on my small acreage near Trinity. Over the last couple of years, the economy went bust, our daughter had a divorce, loosing my son-in-laws help, and...

    AVATAR (the movie)

All of hollywood injects subliminal messages into the movies, and sometimes it is not very subliminal, and has nothing at all to do with the movie plot. Get ticked at these 'stars' in the public eye, who think they then have become scholars in all sorts of things, simply becasue they have some...

Round bales sticking onto hey spear

I’m forming the opinion…. There is a much better solution as to spears, and I need to cut off what I have and get the right thing. These bales are extremely tight. The trailer aids in the problem….not gripping the bottom of the bale. I’m using what I got though the feeding season, since...

Round bales sticking onto hey spear

This is happening when trying to put bales on a trailer. I think the trailer surface itself is aiding in not holding the bale, when you draw the tractor back. Drawing the fork out of the bale when it is on the ground isn’t as much of an issue. Bez with as many persons eyeballing the spear...

Round bales sticking onto hey spear

The bale isn't wet inside nor gummy...but no doubt the bale is tight. I don't think I could reach into the bale 8 inches.

Round bales sticking onto hey spear

I'm having trouble with round bales sticking on the quick attach hay spear on the FEL. One bale was stuck so bad....we ended up breaking the spear. A new spear, slightly smaller in circumference has been weld on...and I'm again having the same problem. I tried spraying on some white...
