There was a time when I thought the democrats were right. That was when I was young and thought it was a party for the working man. Now that I'm older I see it as a party about nothing but BS. I'm not sure if I changed or the party changed but they are not for what I believe. I'm not really a...
That bow is a $600 bow and not a bad buy. It will be far superior to a new $300 bow. I would have no problem buying a used bow that I could look at first.
4 1/2
Edit
4 1/2 by the method I was taught. Teeth aging is all relative and the deer could possibly be a little older or younger. I'm no expert. It's about the same with cows once they get to a certain age.
I have a Remington 1889 12 gauge that belonged to my great grandfather, a Remington Model 11 that belonged to my grandfather and a pre '64 Winchester Model 70 30-06 from my dad. These are the three most important guns I own because of who they come from and the stories that came with them.
In Texas, if it is strictly farm use and within 150 miles of your farm you do not need a CDL. You do have to follow all the other laws concerning commercial vehicles though(example overloading axles, lights, brakes ect.). The same goes for the military. Military personnel can drive tractor...
I usually put lime on when a fall soil test says I need to put at least 1 ton to the acre. Usually around 5 years here but it could be different depending on the type of soil.
As a guy that has Brangus and Braford cattle, why would you if not for the need. I live in central East Texas and a Brahman cross steer will get docked compared to a straight Angus here although the Brangus or Braford mama will add pounds and do it with less inputs. I'm not sure you need the...
It is a flag that represents slavery and there is no way around that. It has no place at a government facility in the USA and hasn't since the civil war. As far as anywhere else, I guess if Mexicans can fly their flag in this country, southern rednecks should be able to fly theirs. I would...
It's not strain on the tractor, it's strain on the baler if you make an oversized bale. I usually set my monitor on my 5x6 baler at 68" and by the time I get stopped in a heavy windrow, IT might be a 70" bale.
Although the 50 amp receptacle would not pass inspection, it was protected by a 30 amp breaker and okay for a dryer. If you tried to plug something up with a 50 amp load, it would have tripped the breaker.
It will be okay as the dryer is 30 amps. More importantly the breaker needs to be 30 a amps and wiring minimum 10 gauge. A 40 amp short in the dryer would not trip a 50 amp breaker but could start a fire. It could be protected by a 30 amp breaker and just had a 50 amp plug though.
